Fablekeep

Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated:

Fablekeep is for running tabletop games. Do not use it, or its optional AI features, to create or share sexually explicit or suggestive content, anything that sexualises minors, hateful or violent content against real people, or anything illegal or infringing.

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to the Fablekeep app, its optional AI features, the website and any service we run (together with the Terms of Use and the EULA). If you run Fablekeep as a server for your players, you are its operator, and we ask you to apply the same rules to the people you invite.

2. Content you must not create or share

  • sexually explicit, pornographic, sexually suggestive or other adult (NSFW) content of any kind;
  • anything that sexualises minors — never, under any circumstances;
  • sexual or intimate content about real people, and deepfakes or impersonations of real people;
  • content that harasses, threatens or promotes hatred or violence against real people or groups, or that promotes terrorism or self-harm;
  • content that is otherwise illegal where you or your players live;
  • content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights, including redistributing assets you bought for personal use (see the Terms of Use, section 5).

Violence and danger that belong to the story — monsters, battles, villains — are part of the game and are fine.

3. The optional AI features

Fablekeep’s AI features are off by default and never generate images or art: the assistant helps you prepare and run your campaign with your own material, and the text helpers suggest NPC names and draft session recaps. You must not use them to generate sexually explicit, pornographic, sexually suggestive or other NSFW content, content that sexualises minors, or any other content prohibited in section 2, and you must not try to get around the safety rules of the AI provider you connect. That provider’s own usage policies apply as well; where they are stricter, they also bind you. You are responsible for what you generate.

4. Things you must not do

  • break the law, or help someone else break it;
  • crack or pirate Fablekeep, or share, publish or resell licence keys;
  • attack, overload, probe or try to break into our systems, or get around limits or security measures;
  • use a service we run to spread malware, spam or scams.

5. What happens if this policy is broken

Your worlds live on your own computer, and we do not monitor them (Terms of Use, section 5.5). When we learn of a breach of this policy — for example through a report, or on a service we run — we may remove the content from our services, suspend your access to them, and for serious or repeated breaches revoke your licence key, as set out in the Terms of Use, section 7 and the EULA, section 12. Content that sexualises minors is reported to the authorities.

6. Reporting

To report content or behaviour that breaks this policy, write to support@fablekeepvtt.com. We reply within 3 business days.
